We were walking Johnny after a long day at the Houston Reliant Dog Show. He startled and backed out of his collar and right into traffic. I grabbed him by his front leg and pulled him back as a car wheel whizzed past inches away. The next day we shopped for harnesses. The Brilliant K9 was the only one that fit and was easy to put on and take off and would never come off.

The harnesses are commonly used by AKC Agility competitors because they are so easy to put on and take off and because they are so comfortable for the dogs.

The Lucy Toy size will fit most Miniature Pinschers and you can get it in a large variety of colors.

We recommend this collar for leash training. The sound of the chain shortening and the gentle tightening help the dog learn not to pull. Just give a little pop when the leash goes taut and they'll quickly stop pulling.

This 1/4" 4 foot long rolled leather leash is soft in the hand and looks really nice.

This pet door mounts right in your window. No cutting or anything. We built a little deck with a ramp outside the window and the dogs can let themselves in and out and not have accidents. The advantage of the Chubby Cat size is that it is a rigid flap that is lockable.

We have used the small Tutto pet carrier to fly with Southwest airlines. We love this carrier compared to less expensive designs because it is sturdy and can be pulled just like regular luggage. This makes it easy to move around the airport. Trust me that even a 10 pound dog gets heavy if you are carrying it all over the terminal. It has mesh panels on the top and side that can be covered. It fits under the seat in front of you as required by the airlines. All you have to do is uncover the mesh panels, unlock the frame to let it collapse a fraction of an inch and it fits perfectly. MinPins like to burrow and crawl under the covers so they actually find travel like this very comfortable and stress free.

OK. These are quite expensive. But we travel a lot with our dogs and we feel much more comfortable about the safety of the dogs when they are safely in this crate. The dogs can't escape or injure themselves and they really like living in these crates. They are made of sturdy aluminum and meet airline guidelines for shipping. However, we do not recommend shipping the dogs this way. See the Tutto carrier above when traveling by airline.

Use these wipes to clean your dogs ears before taping them.

Good for cleaning ears after cropping and any other owies your dog gets.

This is the tape that was recommended to me by Kim Swilling for taping ears.

medipore-2inch.jpg

This is the tape that Kim Swilling recommended to me to tape ears. After taping the ears with the Medipore tape, this is used to wrap the base of the ears to help them stand up.

Use this to easily remove tape from your dogs ears. Just dribble it on the tape and let it soak in and the adhesive will release.
