Adoption Process

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please submit an adoption application at our GoodDog.com page. Then we can discuss the dog and decide if it is right for you.

We do not ship our dogs so must be willing to travel to Austin, Texas to pick up your new family member. Fortunately, MinPins can easily travel in the cabin of an airplane under the seat in front of you as a personal item. See the Recommended Products page for the carrier that we use when flying with our dogs. We have flow on Southwest multiple times with our dogs.

When you've decided to adopt a dog we'll share the sales contract with you so you can review the terms and ask any questions. The terms of the contract differ for a companion dog and a show prospect. The main difference is that a companion dog will only be eligible for a limited AKC registration and must be neutered or spayed. If you agree to the terms we require a $250 non-refundable deposit to hold the dog for you and we need to agree on a pick up date.
